Ghita Alderman

Associate Director, ESG Content National Association of Corporate Directors

Ghita Alderman is the Associate Director for Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Content at the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).  In addition to creating thought leadership content and contributing to education programming for members, she also leads NACD’s new initiative with the World Economic Forum on climate governance, equipping board directors to support the transition to a net zero economy. Prior to joining NACD, Ghita was with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for seventeen years, where she developed ESG best practice tools, fostered strategic partnerships, and built the capacity of emerging markets companies, regulators and policy makers. She has extensive experience in sustainable development and stakeholder engagement and knowledge management, supporting clients’ ESG operational needs, strategy development and execution, project and program management.
